Telugu Extract

Handwriting → editable Telugu, right inside Microsoft Word

Telugu Extract is a Microsoft Word add-in. It turns a photo or scan of a handwritten Telugu page into editable text — headings, lists and tables kept — ready to drop into your document as Unicode or in an Anu font.

Using it

  1. Open Microsoft Word → the Home tab → Telugu Extract.
  2. Drop in a photo or PDF of a handwritten page. It’s read automatically.
  3. Choose an output font — Unicode, or Anu (then pick your font) — and click Insert.
This address is the add-in’s home on the web — there’s nothing to open here. The add-in itself runs inside Word’s task pane. If you don’t have it yet, run the Telugu Extract installer, then open Word.
